Uses & actions:antiseptic, mild antispasmodic, cholagogue, mild diuretic, mild laxative, sedative, tranquilizer (moderates sympathetic NS - diminishes sensitivity), relaxant, sedative, hypnotic, lymphatic stimulant, tonic (digestive, carminative). Excellent for children and the elderly, very gentle.
